01

Check the intended behaviour

  1. Record state of charge, reserve, operating mode and any discharge schedule.
  2. Confirm there is site demand above available solar when discharge is expected.
  3. Check whether a VPP, tariff or backup reserve is controlling the battery.
02

Confirm current data

  1. Check app timestamps and battery communications.
  2. Capture power flow and the exact alert or status.
  3. Note recent firmware, tariff or installer changes.
03

Escalate

  1. Send screenshots, timestamps and model details to the installer.
  2. Ask for the configured control hierarchy to be confirmed.
  3. Do not bypass reserve or protection settings to force discharge.
