- Record state of charge, reserve, operating mode and any discharge schedule.
- Confirm there is site demand above available solar when discharge is expected.
- Check whether a VPP, tariff or backup reserve is controlling the battery.

Confirm current data
- Check app timestamps and battery communications.
- Capture power flow and the exact alert or status.
- Note recent firmware, tariff or installer changes.

Escalate
- Send screenshots, timestamps and model details to the installer.
- Ask for the configured control hierarchy to be confirmed.
- Do not bypass reserve or protection settings to force discharge.
