Stop at observation

  1. Record the exact code and whether it appeared during rain, dew or other damp conditions.
  2. Photograph only safely accessible displays and visible damage from a safe position.
  3. Keep people away from damaged or suspect equipment.

Build the evidence

  1. Record model, array details, first occurrence and recurrence pattern.
  2. Preserve monitoring logs and any manufacturer notification.
  3. Do not clear a persistent alarm simply to restore production.

Licensed assessment

  1. Escalate to an SAA-accredited solar installer or licensed electrician.
  2. Testing, isolation and fault location belong to the licensed assessment.
  3. Return to service only through the responsible technical process.
