- Record the exact code and whether it appeared during rain, dew or other damp conditions.
- Photograph only safely accessible displays and visible damage from a safe position.
- Keep people away from damaged or suspect equipment.

Build the evidence
- Record model, array details, first occurrence and recurrence pattern.
- Preserve monitoring logs and any manufacturer notification.
- Do not clear a persistent alarm simply to restore production.

Licensed assessment
- Escalate to an SAA-accredited solar installer or licensed electrician.
- Testing, isolation and fault location belong to the licensed assessment.
- Return to service only through the responsible technical process.
