Stay with app, router and accessible display observations. Do not open communications gateways, inverters or switchboards.

Keep the evidence with the job

These device-local checks are working state, not evidence. Save actual readings, observations and the outcome in a job record.

01

Confirm the data gap

  1. Check the last successful timestamp and whether the inverter display still shows production.
  2. Compare the app with the retailer meter only as separate evidence; they measure different things.
  3. Record whether one device or the whole site is missing.
02

Check ordinary connectivity

  1. Confirm the site internet is working and note any router, password or network change.
  2. Use only the manufacturer-documented owner reconnection process.
  3. Do not factory-reset equipment or change installer settings.
03

Escalate with evidence

  1. Provide timestamps, screenshots, model and gateway status to the installer or manufacturer.
  2. State clearly whether generation appears normal while monitoring is stale.
  3. Save the resolution in the job record.
