Which of these can I clear on site?

Some clear on their own once grid or environmental conditions return to normal. Anything involving DC isolation, AC switching, wiring or opening the unit is licensed electrical work. Isolate safely, follow AS/NZS 5033 and AS/NZS 3000 procedure and use appropriate PPE before touching a live system.

The exact code isn't listed. Why not?

Firmware and model variants differ, and manufacturers revise their code tables. We document the most common ones; for a variant that isn't here, check the unit's current manual or the manufacturer's service portal.

This guide separates current MOD 3–10KTL3-XH evidence from legacy 1000–5000 TL / 2500–5000 MTL vocabulary. Reviewed remedies are attached only to the numbered MOD XH entries recovered in Growatt's official current manual, including warning 205, which the manual identifies as PV boost driver abnormal. Legacy codes and legacy named aliases remain remedy-blank because their service bulletin is available only through a secondary mirror. Australian and global Growatt pages both list the MOD family, but the installed Australian variant and firmware range are not established by the manual metadata. Code 303 is the one exception to the single-source claim above: it isn't in the MOD XH manual's own Error-code table, so it's cited instead to the separate, AU-hosted MOD XA manual, where it matches exactly. The other eight numbered entries remain sourced to MOD XH. The Warning NNN and Error NNN entries below come from that same AU-hosted XA manual's two troubleshooting tables (§13.2.1 and §13.2.2) — the tables reuse the same numbers for different faults (Warning 303 is an EPS overload; Error 303 is the neutral-to-earth condition), so each entry carries its family word the way the inverter's own display does. A few XA rows name components from Growatt's wider system range (SPH storage, the SP-CT sensor, the off-grid box, a generator); those entries keep the manual's own naming and flag it, since the table text is shared across families.
