How it works

Estimate federal battery STCs from the expected compliance-certification date and battery capacity. From 1 May 2026, usable capacity is tiered: the first 14 kWh receives 100% of the period factor, the next 14 kWh receives 60%, and capacity above 28 kWh to the 50 kWh claim cap receives 15%.

WA programme amounts use the published rate for the selected electricity area and a maximum 10 kWh of usable capacity. They remain potential amounts only: VPP participation, supported products, approved vendors, applicant and property rules still need to be confirmed.
