If one of these codes appears

    • AC Voltage Out Of Range Grid voltage too high or too low

No action is needed — the manual states this condition corrects itself once utility voltage returns within limits for several minutes, with the wait restarting if voltage strays again. Record how often it appears and contact the installer if it persists or recurs daily.

    Product fit · Unknown · brand-level guidance

    • AC Frequency Out Of Range Grid frequency too high or too low

No action is needed — the manual describes these events as usually transient and self-correcting by the electricity network, with the microinverter staying offline until frequency has been in range continuously for a region-set period. Contact the installer if it persists.

    Product fit · Unknown · brand-level guidance

    • Grid Gone No grid / AC supply detected

In most cases no action is required — the manual attributes this to a power outage, with production resuming when supply returns. Check only whether the PV circuit breakers are visibly ON without operating them; contact the installer if events persist.

    Product fit · Unknown · brand-level guidance

    • DC Voltage Too Low Not enough DC input from the panel

The manual calls this usually normal during low light and at dawn and dusk. If it does not clear during full daylight, the modules may be heavily shaded or snow-covered — note the pattern and contact the installer; do not go onto the roof.

    Product fit · Unknown · brand-level guidance

    • DC Power Too Low Panel producing too little power

No action is needed — the manual attributes this to sunrise, sunset, snow cover or very bad weather, with production resuming once sunlight increases. Contact the installer if it persists in good daylight.

    Product fit · Unknown · brand-level guidance

When to call your installer

  • The action for your code says to contact your installer.
  • Your code or message is not on this card.

The actions on this card are the only things it asks you to do. Anything beyond them is for your installer or a licensed electrician. Never open the inverter, the battery or any other part of the system.

Key takeaways
  • Owner actions are the fault libraries' reviewed homeowner remedies, word for word; installer remedies and documented fixes are never printed.
  • Codes and titles appear exactly as the library records them, and every row keeps its product fit, so brand-level guidance is never shown as model-specific.
  • One A4 page in black and white. Write-in lines are left blank for the installer to complete by hand, and nothing is sent, saved or put in the address.

How it works

Each card is read from one of the manufacturer fault libraries. The owner actions are the library's reviewed homeowner remedies, word for word; a library's installer remedies and documented fixes are never printed. Codes and titles appear exactly as the library records them, and each row keeps the product fit its reviewed sources support: confirmed, family-level, or unknown, which means brand-level guidance that is not confirmed for a model. Only libraries with reviewed homeowner remedies are offered.

  • One page. Codes that share the same owner action and the same product fit are grouped. The groups covering the most codes come first, with ties kept in the library's own order, and a card prints at most 5 groups of 3 listed codes. That order reflects how many codes an action covers, not how often a code appears on site. The card says how many reviewed codes it leaves out and where the full library is.
  • Safety. Where the library has a safety note for owners, it is printed as written. Every card also says that anything beyond its actions is for the installer or a licensed electrician, and that equipment is never opened.
  • Printing. The card is laid out for one A4 page in black and white, with no background fills, whatever theme the screen uses.
  • No branding. Manufacturer names appear as text only; no logos or product artwork are used.

The card belongs at the end of the commissioning and handover field pack, alongside the commissioning evidence pack, which covers what the handover record itself should hold.

A printed reference for the owner, not a manual, a warranty document or a compliance record. The product family is chosen in this page: nothing is sent, saved or put in the address, and the write-in lines stay blank for you to fill in by hand.

Frequently asked

Where do the owner actions come from?
They are the reviewed homeowner remedies in Wattbench's fault libraries, printed word for word. A library's installer remedies and documented fixes are never printed, and a library without reviewed homeowner remedies is not offered.
Why doesn't the card list every code?
It has to fit on one printed page. Codes that share the same owner action and product fit are grouped, the groups covering the most codes are printed first, and the card states how many reviewed codes it leaves out and where the full library is. The order reflects how many codes an action covers, not how often a code appears.
Can I add my business details?
Write them on the blank lines after printing. The card never pre-fills a business, installer, customer, site or serial number, and nothing you choose on the page is uploaded, stored or put in the address.
Is the card a manual or a compliance document?
No. It is a reference for the owner. The manufacturer's manual remains the authority, and anything beyond the listed owner actions is for the installer or a licensed electrician.
